Community events are all about…community! So we’re proud to again have several community organisations at the Fayre again this year.

From the Malmsbury Fire Brigade (who’ll be running a tasty BBQ) to Malmsbury District Landcare, and the Macedon Ranges Shire Council to the Malmsbury Primary School selling some baked treats!

Plus the amazing community of volunteers of Wash Against Waste will again be there helping minimise the Fayre’s impact too.

So we’ve shared some of the food, drink and entertainment you can expect at the Fayre, and now it’s time to share some of our local Maker & Artist stalls that will be there on the day.

We’ll have over fifty stallholders there! Here’s just six to help you start planning any special purchases, for yourself or for someone else (did you know Mother’s Day is just two weeks after the Fayre?!). We look forward to sharing more as the big day approaches!

There is something for the whole family at the Mal

There is something for the whole family at the Malmsbury Village Fayre.

For the kids we’ll have a story telling area, where they can sit down and be entertained by imaginative tales. We’ll have a roaming bubble fairy, spreading her shiny, floating magic. There’ll be medieval demonstrations for those who enjoy some drama and action. Plus we’ll have a face painter there ($8 a face) to add some extra colour to the day!  See you in the Malmsbury Botanic Gardens at the Fayre - Sunday 27 April, 2025.

We’ve got you covered, with our friends at Daylesford Cider @daylesfordcider joining us on the day. You can buy a drink on the day - and pick up a six pack to take home to enjoy later!

If gin’s more your thing, local Big Tree Distillery (@bigtreedistillery ) will also be at the Fayre, with their delicious (and gorgeous looking!) range of gin.

Music at the Fayre! This year you’ll again be a

Music at the Fayre!

This year you’ll again be able to enjoy live music throughout the day at the Fayre.

We’ve got six live acts performing to keep your face smiling and your toes tapping!

One of our acts will be Jazz ensemble, Paper Mouse.

Paper Mouse is a collaboration between singer/bassist Liz Frencham and guitarist Robbie Melville.

Frencham and Melville discovered a shared love of jazz, pop, and folk, and instinctively blended their influences into a warm, earthy sound like red wine on a winter’s night.

Frencham’s vocals tug directly on your heart, met by Melville’s beautiful harmonic dissonances, and every nuance is distinct.

Because everything is better with bubbles, the Bubble Fairy will be joining us on the day, wandering the Fayre to delight the little kids…and big kids too!
