Help out on Fayre Day!
Community events like the Fayre simply cannot happen without the generous help of our local volunteers. Many hands make light work, as they say!
Each year, we call out for community members to do a two hour shift (yes, just two hours!) helping with manning the gate, selling raffle tickets and helping with set up and pack down.

Would you like to get more involved in your local community and help organise the Fayre? Join our committee.
Our committee is made up of passionate locals who care about our town and this fantastic event driven by the community, for the community. Current committee members are Andy Rigby, Kathryn Allen, Kimberley Palmer, Freya MacRae, Anwyn Chapman, Darrin Wilkins, Brad Cowan, Philippa Keating and Rosie Elkins.
We need more committee members to help keep the spirit alive and join us in making the Fayre better each year. New ideas are always welcome. If you loved the Fayre, please join the committee. We need enthusiastic people for the following roles:
- Creative team: you have creative ideas and juices to bring the Fayre theme to life, with decorations, art installations, whatever you can imagine!
- Logistics support: support the logistics team, particularly in the month before the Fayre, e.g collecting equipment, putting up signs
